No Second Thoughts!!!!!!!!!!! Can't belive the picture! Everyone who comes to the house can't belive its not a LED or Plazma Display? After spending several weeks comparing plazma to LED. A sales associate at HH Greg sugessted I take a look at DLP from Mtisubishi. One look sold me on the product, best value at the lowest price! No Second Thoughts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! April 19, 2012
Best Picture and 3D i have one of the old diamond 82" tv's had it for over a year now was not happy with the picture so i bought the new one and put the older on in my bed room my son told me dad you have to get that tv ISF calibrated i was like what is that he explained it calibrates the tv for the light and picture for the room and only the best TV's have ISF certification so he ordered it for me to be done by the geek squad and the outcome was unbelievable picture on the older one and the new one i can barely tell the difference in them now and cannot determine which has the better picture all in all wish i had done it on the older one a year ago amazing the difference plasma TV's and some LED have ISF as well but the just do not have to colors the Mitsubshi has. Best for the money The 82840 series comes with a built in 3D Emitter which is great. I havent had a problem or even light issues with my tv. Its not in a room with alot of natural light but the room does have a fair amount. I havent had any real issues with this. Of course the picture looks better in a darker room but still not bad at all. I bought my for $3200 and that was with 2 pair of Xpand 103 glasses. So Im not really sure what the other guy was talking about it being expensive. I was looking at a 70" Plasma that was $4200 and it was a full 12" smaller. So how is this tv expensive in comparison?? Also not sure what the guy was talking about it not having an emitter. The 3D emitter is built right into the tv.... Mitsubishi has spoiled me. I can never go back to a tv that is under 82" in my living room. Also the 3D picture is great. Im hooked on 3D. I also use the 2D to 3D conversion function as well. PS3 games are so lifelike and big on this set. I've played BF3, COD, Black Ops and it has a great refresh rate and I've had no ghosting issues. Also played Killzone 3 in 3D as well as Motorstorm Pacific rift in 3D and it really is amazing gameplay..... If you're looking for a tv with alot of bang for your buck I recommend this tv. I have mine hooked up to my Onkyo 3D receiver and nothing like hearing games and movies in 7.1 surround sound. Also make sure you purchase your tv from an authorized seller or you might find yourself with a second rate or defective tv... The cons are this: HUGE tv, make sure your living room is big enough to sustain a tv of this size. Also like all projection tv's make sure that you can control the lighting in the room. Too much light will make the picture less vivid. Other than that enjoy! January 4, 2012
