Mitsubishi WD-65C10 65" 3D Home Cinema TV 4.7 5 77 77
Spectacular Picture and Price! This is my third Mitsubishi projection TV. I bought the first almost 24 years ago. It ran over 20 years with no problems. Then I had a monster 65" projection set that weighed in at 300 pounds. Worked great, but was too large for our room. I bought the WD-65C10 late 2010. It is a magnificent television. We wanted a 3D capable set. Haven't used 3D yet, waiting on more content. The picture on the WD-65C10 is incredible. Very bright, wide viewing angle, good fast motion processing and amazing colors. Pros: Low Price Tremendous Value A manageable 75 pounds Stunning picture. Cons: Only one. The sound is a bit muddy. I have some hearing difficulties, but my wife's perfect hearing still found some speech difficult to understand. I added an external sound system fed from the digital sound output from the TV. All is perfect now. March 21, 2011
Cinema Quality at Home The TV has clear and crisp picture. Great television for TV viewing, but it's even better watching movies. Setting it up was super easy (but it should have, as I was replacing an older 55" Mitsu set!) Having the set be 3D ready is even a bonus for when I purchase a 3D BluRay player! March 15, 2011
Crystal Clear, Large and Great Depth Crystal Clear, Large with Great Depth, Changing of HD source a little slow between components using the menu. The television fails to initiate correctly sometime leaving a picture of vertical (very colorful) lines across the screen (non-watchable until the television is reset (powered off or change of source. The 3DHDTV acts more like a monitor than a television. Very light weight, I lifted onto the T.V. stand by myself, although it was a bit cumbersome. Looks great with the 2D HD images also. Could have used a built in infra-red sync for the glasses to communicate. Audio was not reversible through the HDMI cable therefore I had to provide audio out of the cable box and through my surround sound unit. Frequently I must mute the television because of echo through both surround sound and television. Television has a speaker off setting but I have to leave it on due to the video games audio is through the television. Mitsubishi is on the cutting edge of the newest technologies and i am certain one could spend more than I have to acquire several of the options I mentioned above. Once you have a 3D television you will discover a great experience that you may not want to be without. That is how good the 3D experience is ! I purchase my television on-line and the delivery was flawless. Not alot of content out for 3D yet but growing by the day. Cable television companies are charging extra per month for ESPN 3D (one channel). Overpriced until they get more channels to offer as a bundle. Looking Forward to More 3D Content becoming available. Very good picture and color Set was very easy to set-up and have been very happy with the picture and sound. I do not have the 3D capabilities yet because I can add it later. I have not hooked it up via HDMI yet because I will be changing cable provider. March 14, 2011
