exceptional true 3d effect :)
i first watched the mitsubishi 60" dlp mod # 60638 series at a friends place 2 months ago and was AMAZED at the 3d quality. i was so impressed that i went out and purchased the same model 4 days later unfortunatly my budget didn't agree with it so i'll have to wait a couple of months to buy the 3d starter kit. i grew up with the old school red and blue paper glasses and thought that was a treat...WRONG. there is no way to describe how everything reaches out of the screen at you. just wait until you watch alice in wonderland...get ready to start dodging tea pots :) this is one very serious tv. thankyou mitsubishi , this is the best money i have ever spent.

Great 3D HDTV !!!
This is our family's first 3D HDTV, and we are pleased to say that we are completely satisfied with our purchase. We first saw this television online and couldn't believe the price. I then did research on my own on this television and found many key factors in wanting to purchase it. some key factors are of course the price, the size, the amazing quality in picture and sound it projects, 3D compatible, and also its by Mitsubishi. We had a old Mitsubishi a long time ago, maybe bought in around and it lasted for more than 10 years. If we ever had to buy another HDTV DLP I will definitely buy another Mitsubishi however i will go much larger. 73inch or larger.

Great TV
After much research of the various types of TVs we decided to get the Mitsubishi WD60638. We have had this model for several months and it has lived up to our expectations and then some. The picture quality is fantastic, and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a new television. The sound on the TV isn't that good so I would hook it up to a surround sound system but other than that I have nothing bad to say about it. Off air or satellite picture is the same at 1080p so you can't miss.

Excellent if the shoe fits!
We have a large great room and had plenty of space for this larger size TV. We don't use the TV daily so the DLP bulbs should last much longer based on number of days we own the TV. Plenty of inputs. Sound is acceptable. You need to view the screen directly to get the best experience (can't be looking up or down at the screen). This is a TV that fits only certain circumstances but it works excellent for us!
