Great Picture and Sound, although some issues. .
Picture Quality: Great! That's what a TV is actually for right? Blu-rays look phenomenal.
Sound Quality: Great Sound quality, with adjustments for room setting, and sub-woofer that came with it does its job!
Sound went out: I have had this TV installed and used for almost a year now. Just recently the sound gave out and had picture without any sound. I had to turn the set off and back on again, and the sound came back on sometimes. It was and is still is under warranty, currently awaiting a new motherboard to be installed.
Operating Controls Takes Forever: The set takes about one whole minute, sometimes longer, to turn on (which is a LONG time to be watching a blue screen awaiting a response) and then some more time to set the Input/Activity device you want (DVD, Cable, Gaming system etc..)
Remote: Clunky and very outdated
USB Devices: I have never been able to play any video off of my usb device that has been inserted into the TV. I changed the format a couple times (AVI, mpeg-4) without any resolution.
Pro's:
-Great picture quality
-Great sound quality
-Looks very sleek
Con's:
-Takes a long time to start up
-Doesn't play common Media file formats on USB
-Interface is not user friendly
-No internet connectivity
-No VGA/DVI port to connect computer without HDMI output

surround not wrth it, sound board went out in 10 m
great pecture and features but sound not not woth it. my sound board wnt oput in 10 mo. ad was back-oredred becaus of so many going out, owned many mits. tv's all great not this one.

We like the Great HD experience of our Mitsubishi.
From my wife "who mainly watches old movies" to our Grandchildren "who are immersed in the many childrens shows shown in HD". Our Mitsubishi HD TV has been a great quality addition to our visual relaxation times. I am an avid cycilist (7,000 to 10,000 miles riden a year)and have really enjoyed seeing the Tour De France for the past couple of years on our new Mitsubishi, as well as watching other great sporting events. I appreciate the technology used in this day and age to give the consumer this type of quality electronics.

The virtual surround sound is great.
Not only do we get great surround sound without rear speakers, which keeps my wife happy, the set up and adjustability for the sound center was done really quickly. The system is clean and sleek.
The next best part is the time I saved because no wires were stretched accross the room to the rear speakers. I also saved money because no rear speakers were needed or used.
