very disappointing sound
The picture is alright, nothing special compared to other quality TV's though. The final selling point was this supposedly great sound system - no sub woofer needed even. I've been back to the store twice to see if I'm not understanding the setup process. The last trip the salesman told me the only way to make the sound better was a sub woofer. The premium price you pay for sub par sound and then more for a sub woofer makes this a disappointment.

can't buy the reccomended subwoofer anywhere
the picture is not near as good as the previous years model ,I think the LED backlighting makes the low light pics way too dark. I tried to buy the manuals reccomended subwoofer and you can't buy it anywhere ,even fom the dealer,how silly is that.

Another excellent Mitsubishi TV!
I bought a Mitsubishi 65" Diamond Series about 10 years ago on a friends recommendation & have been 100% satisfied (it's still performing perfectly!). When the time came to upgrade an old 37" CRT, there was no doubt what brand I would be buying. I was really surprised when looking at new LEDs to find out that while every other manufacturer concentrated on picture/screen quality, they forgot about sound, Mitshbishi is still building the best all around systems. The new models w/the built in front sound bar/surround sound are the absolute best you can get for picture quality & sound in one package! Setup & operation is super simple also. Take it from a long-time Mitsubishi owner, you can't go wrong w/the Unisen line.

This tv has an excellent picture
Overall the television is a phenomenal piece of electronics. Great array of inputs and easy to use menus.
